#18-Beach/Inlet Processes and Management (1993) [Mehta]



-This JCR Special Issue explores the multitude of processes and management practices that govern beaches and inlets. Select papers encompass a variety of coastal processes, including longshore transport, beach erosion, washover fans, cross-shore transport, and sediment budgets. These processes are kept in balance through management practices discussed in this Special Issue volume, which includes beach nourishment, jetties, groins, breakwaters, etc. Dr. A.J. Mehta, principal editor for this Special Issue, is a world renown expert in coastal and estuarine hydrodynamics, including sediment transport.
